Based on the official post, WOW Patch 6.0.2, the pre-patch for Warlords of Draenor, not the expansion itself, will launch on October 14, 2014.
Patch 6.0.2: The Iron Tide features new content – the Iron Horde incursion and the Infiltration of Blackrock Spire. All warriors are rushing to the Blasted Lands to fight against the Iron Horde invasion. The strange-looking orcs have made the Dark Portal blood red. Besides, the revamped five-player version of Upper Black Spire offers counterstrike against the Iron Horde, which will be available to level-90 characters for a limited time.
Void storage and toy box in Draenor
With the coming of Patch 6.0.2, it seems most players prefer Void Storage and Toy Box to these new content. For a long time, wow players are bothered by the lack of bag space, but in Warlords of Draenor pre-patch, Blizzard will offer Toy Box and Void Storage tab to manage overloaded bag space.
For the toy box, you can put all fun toy items like mounts ad pets you have accumulated over the course into it and any toy that you’ve learned can be dragged from the Toy Box and placed on a toolbar for fast access.
For Void Storage tab, a separate Reagents Bank should help you a lot. You can craft items using materials in bank, instead of putting them in your bag. Besides, bags come with a "Clean up Bags" option to move all the empty slots to one area, and quest items do not take up space in your bags anymore.
With the addition of Void storage tab and toy box, you can collect all fun toy items like WOW mounts and pets in Warlords of Draenor expansion and its pre-patch.
